To deliver the reality of sustainable urbanisation the DSF system is built around the ability to produce large volumes of affordable quality housing in the shortest period of time.
In the above examples, over 50 complete housing frames can be produced every week by one DSF production facility, with completion of a 400sq ft/ 36 msq 2 bedroom home in 3-4 days and 5-6 days for the 650 sq ft/ 60msq family home.
The number of production units per project is entirely subject to the clients programme requirements, both in terms of quantity of homes and the time period in which they are to be delivered.
Two bed units for community housing, offered with either a double or single pitched roof subject to local requirements. |
Durability |
DSF are guided by the requirents of the Sphere Project*, both in terms of the physical structure of the houses and in maximising the use of ecologically sustainable, locally sourced materials.
In addition, whilst lightweight compared to conventional construction, the buildings can be designed to incorporate ÔXÕ bracing to be earthquake resistant to 8.5 on the Richter scale and storm proofed to withstand 150 mph / 240 Km winds.
